Due to its topographical position the Gasteinvalley offers a lot of variety for freeriding. Whether you are beginner or expert it is equally interesting for all demands. No matter, if you do your first steps offpiste or if you already experienced freerider, who is not shy of steeper lines. The Alpine Guides Gastein always take you to the best and safest spots.
With the run from Schareck (3100m) down to Sportgastein (1600m) we have one oft the longest and most attracktive freeride runs in the alps.
On request the Alpine Guides Gastein also guide you in other resorts like:
Kitzsteinhorn, Saalbach/Hinterglemm/Fieberbrunn, Obertauern, Maria Alm, Ischgl, Arlberg, etc.

On the first day we meet 9:00 am at the parking Schlossalmbahn Bad Hofgastein.
€ 300,00 per person for guiding and training (four days) or € 90,00 per person for one day

- Correct interpretation of the avalanche situation report
- Evaluation methods of avalanche hazard and decision strategies
- Emergency equipment check, emergency management
- Handling of avalanche transceivers and emergency equipment
- Tour planning and map carthography
- Techniqual training in theory and practice
Requirements:
The camp does not replace a ski course! Basic skiing technique in the terrain. Basic condition for short ascents on foot (skis on your backpack), max. 30 minutes.
Equipment:
Off-road ski equipment incl. helmet, backpack, etc. Safety equipment (avalanche transceiver, shovel, sensor) available to rent for an additional charge.
